The "I TRI for MAC" triathlon

The "I TRI for MAC" triathlon is an event celebrating the life of McKayla Hanson and to raise money for a scholarship in her name. 

This event is important to us as McKayla was the first patient of our PnO director, Cara Negri. After competing in events together, McKayla really started training. She was a contender for the Paralympic triathlon team. She also attended EMU for O&P, and was in her residency to become a practitioner. She passed away in 2017, but made a huge impact on so many! This event is held in her memory, and to raise funds for O&P students.
