NZ Kids building confidence
e-ako maths is a free online resource created to support students' development of important maths ideas from the New Zealand Curriculum. Using a Bracken platform, it provides pathways of sequenced learning modules (e-ako) which support all areas of maths.
With over 700 modules available in English and te reo Māori, it caters to students from 7 to 12 years of age. It also gives teachers the ability to view progress online, staying active in their students' learning.
e-ako maths is designed to complement and support a classroom teaching programme. This form of learning known as blended learning, is an effective way to engage students making them more accountable for their own learning, resulting in improved student learning outcomes.
